BJP has won all the assembly seats in 11 districts out of 25 districts that are being counted in the Purvanchal. Of the 141 seats of Purvanchal, BJP got 111 seats, while SP 14 and BSP had to be satisfied with 12 seats. Leaving one seat of Kushinagar, the Congress has almost been eliminated in the Purvanchal.
