The Ghazi Attack' has been running steadily at the box office. The Hindi version of the film collected Rs 1.50 crore on its first Tuesday taking the five day total to Rs 9.50 crore, as reported by Boxofficeindia.com.
According to the producers, 'The Ghazi Attack' collected Rs 1.50 crore in Hindi and a total of Rs 3.15 cr in respect of the three languages. This takes the overall domestic total of all three languages till date to Rs 24.05 crore.
Starring Rana Daggubati, Taapsee Pannu, Kay Kay Menon, Rahul Singh, Satyadev Kancharana and Atul Kulkarni, 'The Ghazi Attack' is based on the mysterious sinking of the Pakistani war ship PNS Ghazi during the 1971 Indo-Pak War. The film released in three languages: Hindi, Tamil and Telugu and is touted as India's first film depicting war at sea.
'The Ghazi Attack', being the first of its kind cinema in the country is claimed to be the first war-at-sea film too. Directed by Sankalp Reddy, the movie has garnered thundering applause from Bollywood. Actors Arjun Kapoor, Alia Bhatt were a very few among others who spoke high about the film.
