A household argument over an illegal relationship resulted in the demise of a woman as well as her son, while her daughter-in-law was hurt.
Authorities stated family members of Harijan Yellamma, 50, possessed a three-acre farming property in Han-mapur in Peddemul mandal. Her son Krishna found her in a compromising position along with one Naresh, a neighborer.
On Saturday morning hours, community elders organised a panchayat where Yellamma claimed that Naresh was a robber who had stolen a few articles from her house. Naresh on the other hand explained they were in a relationship, and therefore she had called him ome. Naresh paid Rs10,000 for the stolen articles.
Once they came back home, Yellamma picked up a quarrel with her daughter-in-law Bujjamma. She poured gasoline on her self and threatened to set herself on fire. Krishna likewise followed suit. Yellamma claimed, in her death statement, that Krishna had chucked a lighted match on her. Both of them were burnt to death.
