The Cyberabad police are planning to use modern gadgets to check the increasing number of accidents on the Outer Ring Road (ORR). They reinforced the patrol and enforcement on the eight-lane, controlled expressway. A proposal has been sent to the government which has requested authorization to set up its own ORR police station and reduced the top speed to 100 km / h from 120 km / h.
Four new patrol vehicles were acquired by Cyberabad police .The patrolling vehicles have laser-speed guns and breath analyzers. Cyberabad Sleuths before now had two patrolling vehicles and two speed guns. Chiranjeevulu the HMDA Commissioner said hat they were aiming to achieve zero-accident mortality on the ORR by controlling drunk driving and speeding.
