Candidates who solve the GATE exam with high merit are entitled to pursue masters in best colleges / institutes throughout the country. The GATE score is also used by the Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) to recruit suitable candidates for entry point jobs. GATE score is valid for three years after the declaration of results. The GATE paper is a single paper which had 65 questions with a total of 65 marks for a period of three hours.
